The Zaytuna Mosque Madrasah & Souq Complex in Al Dhaid, Sharjah, UAE, with a built-up area of 7,305 sq.mt, is currently under construction. Our role involves interior design and supervision, and we have drawn significant inspiration from ancient Tunisian architecture. The interiors reflect intricate details rooted in history and culture, incorporating traditional Tunisian elements such as mashrabiya screens, decorative tile work, and handcrafted wooden ceilings. Reminiscent of the Zaytuna Mosque in Tunis. The madrasah and souq areas are designed to evoke the vibrant ambiance of Tunisian markets, with richly colored ceramic tiles and wrought-iron lanterns adding to the authenticity. The use of natural materials, such as stone and wood, along with elegant stucco work, enhances the traditional aesthetic while providing a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Our design aims to create a space that honors the cultural heritage of Tunisia, offering a unique and immersive experience for worshippers and visitors alike.​
