Groundbreaking at Oman Pavilion, EXPO 2020
Connecting Minds, Creating the Future – keeping the theme of Expo 2020 in mind, the construction of the Oman Pavilion kicked off with Archcorp as the Architect on Record for the eye-catching structure, which derived inspiration from the frankincense tree. Archcorp marked this event on the 10th of October 2019, and was represented by our Managing Partner, Ms. Farhana Imran. The foundation stone was laid on-site in the presence of Oman’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ali Bin Masoud Al Sunaidi and other prominent Omani officials.
Archcorp Presents LEED Gold to Mai Dubai
Archcorp was recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council for the expansion project of Mai Dubai Head Office, Al Yalayis 2, by achieving Gold Certification under the LEED v4 Building Design and Construction: New Construction and Major Renovations rating system. The expansion project incorporated simplicity and elegance in its design, followed Dubai Municipality green building regulations and targeted a 35% more efficiency then ASHRAE Standard 90. 1-2004. Archcorp, was represented by its Managing Partner, Ms. Farhana Afzal to present the Gold Certificate.
Commencement Ceremony at DHCC
Archcorp, represented by Imran Afzal, Owner and Principal Architect, was a prominent part of the prestigious Groundbreaking Ceremony of the G+7 Residential Building on the 25th of November 2019. This marked the beginning of an innovative project in the heart of Dubai Health Care City, with Archcorp undertaking both the design and supervision.
